Diane Arbus Style

I see a disgusted man grasping a pole, glancing abnormally in the distance with dry brush surrounding him. The way his lips are formed makes the picture seem a bit off. He is a bit hunched over which disguises his lanky figure. It is a simple concrete portrait.  
The photo is intentionally in focus so you can see his figure and facial expression clearly. The tone of the picture is indifferent and blunt. 
The image was shot outdoors in bright light, but was darkened. Once the subject is dark, it carries a more subtle, blank tone.
In my opinion, I feel like this picture was semi successful because it carries a bit awkward subtleness but at the same time looks a little normal.
